Vacation Time!

Good news! My Laptop is back! The FedEx guy just delivered it this afternoon.
Bad news...I am currently packing everything to take my little family on a trip over to Seattle.
We will be gone until the 1st. So look for lots of picture heavy posts and my thoughts on having a 4 month old when I get back. Cause blogging from my phone sucks. Although I may throw a picture or two up on le blog as a teaser for when I get home.
See ya all in 4-5 days!
PS. Did you guys know it is my anniversary in like two days! I will have been married to the love of my life for 4 years now! How exciting!

4 Months

Not having my laptop sucks. I really need to invest in a backup/desktop.

On a side note my little chunkamonk is 4 months old. Did a little photo shoot with him today. I will have to share it with you all when I get computer access back. For now here he is from a pic I shared on my instagram (@capturing_magic).

Teething Sucks [help?]

You guys! I am so tired. I expected teething to suck. I expected to not get very much sleep. But this sucks. My poor baby has been teething - I'm talking drooling buckets, snot nose, screaming teething for over a month now.
There are days I feel his little teefers coming through and then  the next day they disappear! It is so frustrating. It reminds me of my labor with him where he played peek-a-boo for six hours. Except this is worse. This has been happening for over a month.
Daddy and I are so tired.
We've tried everything: teething tablets, ora-gel,  bath time, swaddling (that so does not fly anymore), rocking, binkie, bottle...am I missing something?  Why is this precious mostly happy little boy go into bouts of screaming for hours on end? Why will he not let daddy or I sleep until after 4am (sometimes 6am)?

I Love Me Monday

1. What is one thing you always seem to forget and want to punch yourself for it? Here lately it is usually something for the baby. Like tonight I had to run out the door with him and it was warm when I left. When it started getting cooler I realized I forgot a blanket for him. [smh] had to stop what I was doing to go home & get one. Won't (hopefully) be doing that again.

2. If you could spend 15 minutes with any person of your past, present, living or deceased who would you choose? My Grandma, but only if I knew it would be while we were getting along. Those 15 minutes is something I would rather remember than want to forget.

3. What's your favorite way to wake up?  Naturally. When I am able to wake up on my own without everyone waking me up, it is the best. My husband says I stretch like a cat when I am waking up that way. He also says I'm not a bitch when I get to wake up on my own. [heehee] I am so not a morning person.

First things first: I was compensated for this post with a bottle of the Noxicare Pain Relief bottle and a t-shirt. Thank you Noxicare!

I have had this wonderful natural pain reliever cream for about two weeks now and I have to say I am turning into a very big fan of this! I've had hip pain like whoa since giving birth to Kaileb. I've been to the see  my chiropractor to help out.

And that did help for the most part, but at night I would still wake up hurting. Since I started using this I can sleep through the night without waking up from the hip/pelvic pain. Now I not saying this is going to fix it but it is a nice temporary natural pain relief

Matt has also been using this for his cluster headaches. Since they are cluster headaches there is no real cure for them but Noxicare really helps dull them. Which is a relief cause I hate seeing him in pain all the time.

Wanna check it out yourself? Click on any of the links or the picture above and it will take you right to their website or you can visit and like them on Facebook.

The blog might be a little neglected the this week and next.

This week is finals week and between studying my butt off so I pass this class and a teething 3.5month old I don't have enough hours in the day.

Next week is my 4 year wedding anniversary and to celebrate the hubby, kiddo and I are heading to Seattle to visit friends and family.

There will be lots of pictures and lots of Twitter and Instagram updates. So if you don't follow me there yet head on over and do so!

And because no post is complete without this little cutie:

On a coffee date with mommy.

When does poop become acceptable to talk about?
Ask any parent. They will tell you from the moment your first born makes their grand entrance into this world, poop is an acceptable topic.
You don't even realize you are doing it at first. Then all of sudden you realize that your entire conversation has revolved around your baby's bowl movements.
It doesn't matter if you are a first time parent or a seasoned veteran of the parenting world, at one point or another you are going to talk about poop.
It's kind of a big deal.
Before Kai I would have never imagined myself talking about poop with my friends and family. Now it seems like the norm. As if I have always been that parent who talks about her kids poop.
Stop and think about it. If you are a parent you have probably done this at one point or another. Or maybe you're still doing it.
Okay...I think that is enough poop talk for one blog post. I promise it wont happen again -- well at least until we start potty training that is.
